Following the Credit Union's Bylaws, the board secretary hereby submits the following Annual Election Notice:

There are two (2) terms expiring on the Tucoemas Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. The following incumbent director has been re-nominated for election by the Nominating Committee:

Brandon Gridiron – 3-year term

In addition, Sandra C. Polk and Amy Shuklian have been nominated for the other open Board position.

Nominations for vacancies may also be made, but only by petition. An election will not be conducted by ballot, and there will be no nominations from the floor. Any member who wishes to submit a nomination by petition must obtain a Petition Form and the Petition Rules available at the Credit Union office 5222 W. Cypress Ave., Visalia, CA. The Petition Form must be signed by one percent of the membership with a maximum of 500. As of October 30, 2023, the Credit Union has 28,871, and therefore the Nomination Petition must be signed by at least 289 Credit Union members. Each Nominee, by petition, shall submit a Statement of Qualifications and Biographical Data and a signed Certificate from the Nominee stating they are agreeable to nomination and will serve, if elected to office, with the petition. All petitions must be returned to the Credit Union office by February 24, 2024. At least 35 days before the annual meeting, all nominations by petition and those of the nominating committee will be posted in a conspicuous place in each credit union office and on and on the credit union's website. When nominations are closed, the board chair will approve the election of tellers, and ballots will be distributed to the membership. The vote will be taken and tallied by the election of tellers, and the results will be announced at the Annual Meeting on April 3, 2024.
