Unlimited access to your account is just a phone call away. Our free, automated phone banking system - known as TellerPhone - is available in English and Spanish, 24 hours a day. Its step-by-step guide helps you manage your account and take care of financial tasks quickly.

Outgoing Wire Transfers

Wire transfer requests must be done in person.

Domestic Wires

If you would like to transfer money from Tucoemas FCU to another financial institution in the United States, please provide the following:

  • Wire transfer amount
  • Name of bank/credit union receiving wire
  • Address of bank/credit union receiving wire
  • ABA/Routing number of bank/credit union receiving wire
  • Account # at receiving bank/credit union
  • Name and physical address of person to receive wire (no PO Boxes)
  • Tucoemas FCU account # and share ID that wire will be transferred FROM
  • Purpose of wire
  • A $20.00 non-refundable wire processing fee for domestic
  • Or $35.00 non-refundable wire processing fee for international

PLEASE NOTE: It is necessary to use these exact instructions so that your wire is not rejected. Generally, wires must be sent by 12:30 p.m. in order to be received the same day. Check with the financial institution for the correct cutoff time.

International Wires

If the foreign bank has a SWIFT* code, we can wire funds from your account directly to the foreign bank. If the foreign bank does not have a SWIFT code, we must have the information for a correspondent bank located in the USA to process the wire.

What is a SWIFT Code?
The SWIFT (Society for World-wide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) system is a computer-based message switching system used by most international banks as a method of making overseas payments. The SWIFT code is 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters long and is the international standard for uniquely identifying a financial institution. The SWIFT code is also known as BIC (Bank Identifier Code).

PLEASE NOTE: To wire funds out of your account, additional ID verification and authentication is required. Additional information may be required at the time of the wire request.

Incoming Wire Transfers

Domestic Wires

Wire transfer is a banking option that allows for transfer of funds from a financial institution to your Tucoemas FCU account. Incoming wire transfer requests must be done at the financial institution the money is being sent from.

For transfers to Tucoemas FCU from another financial institution in the United States, you’ll need the following:

  • Wire transfer amount
  • Name of credit union receiving wire: Tucoemas Federal Credit Union
  • Address of credit union receiving wire: 5222 W Cypress Ave Visalia, CA 93277
  • ABA/Routing number of credit union receiving wire: 321178420
  • Tucoemas FCU account # and share ID that wire will be transferred to
  • Name and physical address of person (member) to receive wire
  • Note: There is a $15.00 non-refundable incoming wire processing fee for domestic
  • Or  a $30.00 non-refundable incoming wire processing fee for international

International Wires

If the foreign bank has a relationship with a US correspondent bank, the wire can be sent from the foreign bank to their US correspondent bank, and the US correspondent bank will process the wire using the instructions above.

If the foreign bank does not have a relationship with a US correspondent bank and if they have their own SWIFT* code, the following wiring instructions must be used:

It's quick, and safer than carrying around a paper check. You also can use direct deposit for Social Security and other types of government benefits or pension payments.

Get instant access to cash using your VISA® Debit Card or ATM card. Both let you withdraw money from ATMs, and the debit card has the added benefit of purchasing power to replace your paper checks. Use it wherever VISA® is accepted, and have your purchases automatically deducted from your account. Both cards are free when you open a Tucoemas Federal Credit Union checking account.

  • Withdraw up to $500 per business day
  • No transaction fees at Tucoemas Federal Credit Union machine
  • Additional ATM access available through various nationwide networks: Star, Accel, Explore, Cirrus, VISA®, MasterCard® and Discover®

Funds Availability Policy

It is our policy to delay the availability of funds deposited by check and certain other instruments. During the delay (hold period), funds will not be available for cash withdrawals or used to pay checks drawn on the account. The hold periods on checks are generally two (2) business days for "local" checks and five (5) business days for "non-local" checks.

You have multiple choices when it comes to sizes.

  • 3" x 5" - $30 annual fee
  • 3" x 10" - $50
  • 5" x 5" - $45
  • 5" x 10" - $70
  • 10" x 10" - $100

A $15 key deposit is required for a new safe deposit box, and the deposit is refunded when you return both keys to us.

Effective October 1, 2017, your Tucoemas FCU VISA Debit and/or VISA Credit card will provide the automatic Account Updater free convenience service.

Are there merchants to whom you have given your VISA Debit or VISA Credit card to keep on file for recurring payments?  If so, this applies to you. Whenever you receive a new, or renewed, VISA card, your old card's information (i.e.., card number and expiration date) will automatically update to the new card's number and expiration date - for all merchants with whom you maintain your card on file for recurring payments.

YOU MAY OPT OUT: If you do not want to utilize this convenience, you may OPT-OUT. If you opt-out of this automatic update, it will be incumbent upon you to manually update your auto-charge merchants whenever you receive an updated Tucoemas FCU debit and/or credit VISA card.
