International Wires
If the foreign bank has a SWIFT* code, we can wire funds from your account directly to the
foreign bank. If the foreign bank does not have a SWIFT code, we must have the information
for a correspondent bank located in the USA to process the wire.
What is a SWIFT Code?
The SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) system is a
computer-based message-switching system used by most international banks to make
overseas payments. The SWIFT code is 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters long and is the
international standard for uniquely identifying a financial institution. The SWIFT code is also
known as BIC (Bank Identifier Code).
PLEASE NOTE: Additional ID verification and authentication are required to wire funds out of
your account. Additional information may be required at the time of the wire request.
Please visit any one of our four branches to complete your wire transfer, or feel free to call us

Incoming Wire Transfers
Domestic Wires
Wire transfer is a banking option that allows for transfer of funds from a financial institution to your
Tucoemas FCU account. Incoming wire transfer requests must be done at the financial institution the
money is being sent from.
For transfers to Tucoemas FCU from another financial institution in the United States, you’ll need the
following:
- Wire transfer amount:
- Name of credit union receiving wire: Catalyst Corporate FCU
- Address of credit union receiving wire: 6801 Parkwood Blvd. Plano, TX 75024-7198
- ABA/Routing number of credit union receiving wire: 311990511
- Beneficiary FI: Tucoemas Federal Credit Union
- Beneficiary FI Address: 5222 W. Cypress Ave. Visalia, CA 93277
- Reference: Name, Membership Number and Account Type (Your information at Tucoemas)
- Account Number: 321178420
- Note: There is a $15.00 non-refundable incoming wire processing fee for domestic or international
*International Wires:
We do not have a SWIFT code that allows international wires to be sent directly from an international
bank to Catalyst. The sending international bank will need to go through a U.S. correspondent bank
or through a foreign correspondent bank that has a banking relationship with a U.S. correspondent
bank.
We do have a non-live SWIFT/BIC1 code that can be given to an individual or an institution in
another country for use in wiring funds into the U.S. For the international bank and the U.S.
correspondent bank, this code identifies Catalyst as a legitimate party to the wire.
PLEASE NOTE: that a BIC1 is an “inactive” BIC, used only for identification purposes. This BIC can only
appear in the text (Block 4) of a FIN message – party field 57A or 58A, for example, to identify your
institution as the beneficiary of a payment. If an “inactive” BIC appears in the header of a FIN
message, the message will be rejected by FIN.
It’s quick, and safer than carrying around a paper check. You also can use direct deposit for Social Security and other types of government benefits or pension payments.
