“Pack Your Future” Backpack Drive

At Tucoemas, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported. That is why we were honored to serve as the largest sponsor of the inaugural “Pack Your Future” Backpack Drive in the City of Visalia.

The event was organized by Hector Prado, founder of Educacion for Everybody, a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting first-generation students, underserved community members, and anyone seeking educational opportunities with the programs, resources, and support they need to succeed.

With nearly 100 students in attendance, the event was a tremendous success and demonstrated the power of community partnerships working toward a common goal.

As the event’s biggest sponsor, Tucoemas proudly provided the backpacks along with the essential school supplies inside each one. Seeing students leave with the tools they need to start the school year ready to learn was a meaningful reminder of why investing in education matters.

We are grateful to have partnered with Educacion for Everybody and the many volunteers and community members who helped make this event possible. Together, we are helping remove barriers to education and creating opportunities for students and families throughout our community.
