With nearly two decades of experience in the credit union movement, Chris brings a deep understanding of cooperative finance, team leadership, and community impact to the Tucoemas team.

A graduate of California State University, Sacramento, in General Business Management, Chris quickly developed a passion for exploring how credit unions’ financial strategies directly influence the well-being of the communities they serve. Throughout his career, he has focused on aligning organizational goals with member needs, emphasizing that strong teams are the foundation of exceptional service.

“The team is greater than the sum of its parts” has been Chris’s guiding philosophy, one that has helped him build and inspire high-performing teams that deliver meaningful results.

In his previous role as Senior Financial Officer at Rivermark Community Credit Union, Chris played a key leadership role in guiding the organization through one of the largest credit union mergers in recent years. This milestone required exceptional dedication, patience, and flexibility—all qualities that will serve Tucoemas well as it continues to grow and evolve to meet members’ changing needs.

At Tucoemas, Chris looks forward to advancing the credit union’s mission to provide affordable, accessible financial products and services to underserved and underbanked communities. He will lead with integrity and transparency, ensuring that members remain at the heart of every decision.
